My uncle remains were inured at this columbarium in a MM city. This is owned by the church and the columbarium is only 8 years old and most of the units have been sold. Their design and lay out is something to look at and surpass
There are 6 walls with 19 columns each of 10 layers with spacing of 2 meters between rows and 6 meters between rows of walls.
1 wall x 10 layers x 19 = 190 x 6 = 1140 units
The next 6 walls have only 7 layers and 19 columns = 798
Altar 3 x 7 (Premium priced) 21
First wall at back of altar semi circular 19 x 7 x 2 = 266
Last wall 7 layers x 38 = 266
TOTAL 2,491
The selling price ranges from 30t to lower and upper units, the middle units range from 40 to 80t
Let us say the average selling price is P40t = P99,640,000 or almost 100 million. The attraction is that for every ash crypt sold this will be used in building the church
The exterior of the ossuary/columbarium
Wide halls ways for ventilation and lighting
Planters in big pots
Use of stones and earthern tiles
Drive thru and roadway
Plant box
The altar with the wall of ash crypts as the background and base of the altar
The urn to be interred will be placed on the table in front of the altar; why six rows?
The ash crypts/ossuary
Distance between walls is two meters; 19 columns and 9 layers
Bernches and crucifix at the back
Images of the saints at the capstones
The 3 meters spacing between 3rd and 4th walls
The ends are decorated with pics/portraits of saints (like in Sta Ana but cheaper)
The curved wall at the back of the later 7 layers and 4 layers at the last row
Curved design takes a lot of space and more difficult/costly to construct
Other noted features
Light and ventilation coming from wide arches and wide spacing
x
Use of decks and structural steel
Many units are occupied because there are 2 crematoriums in the area.
The inurnment ceremony and blessing
The priest blessing the urn containing the remains cremated in LMP crematorium
Family members blessing their dad;s remains
The inurnment about to take place at the urn owned
The ash crypt details
There are four separate nuts and bolts and a flower holder
The flower holder is made of 5 inch cut hollow square 3 mm thk tube
There are two flat bars where the nut is fixed (welded or by two nut lock)
Do the flat bars run top to bottom or fixed to the unit?Note the 4 nuts fixing the cover
The bolt is about 1 1/4 long, note the 4 nuts at the top right that secures
